In 2022, “Support of Regional Economic Cooperation in Asia (SRECA)” brings together Chinese, German and Mongolian women entrepreneurs for the second time. Last year, the SRECA project, which is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the BMZ, initiated a triangular training for the Mongolian Women Entrepreneurs Council (MWEC) during the lock-down in 2021. Chinese and German women entrepreneurs and experts successfully exchanged and shared knowledge on how to utilise e-commerce tools and mechanisms to access the market in China and Germany. The training aimed to support digital networking and business development to promote small businesses within the MWEC. About 50 participants from sectors like cashmere, organic cosmetics, fashion design, agriculture and food processing, trade and construction participated actively in the event.
This year, SRECA will follow-up jointly with Mongolian Women Entrepreneurs Council (MWEC) and partners from China and Germany to upscale the triangular approach within the bigger framework of the Sino-German Center for Sustainable Development. The aim is to have tailor-made inputs in form of coaching sessions from Chinese and German experts for Mongolian women entrepreneurs on export promotion, market access and further topics. It should also foster longer-term cooperation of joint activities between Chinese, German and Mongolian women entrepreneurs.
