In November 2018, the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lao PDR (ECCIL), together with Austcham, Austaid and the Lao Business Women’s Association, invited 180 female students to an inspirational presentation on female leadership and career development in Vientiane. The goal was to inspire and motivate young Lao females to pursue their career dreams. Using short motivational speeches followed by a panel discussion, four professionally successful Lao women shared their individual experiences of how they achieved their career goals and how they have overcome individual challenges.
Speakers were: 1st female pilot at Lao Airline, the president of the Lao Women’s Business Association, Electric Engineer and CEO of Engineering company and the Head of Communication of an International Bank.
