Presentation of Gender Mainstreaming in EU Accession Talks (Internal Market Policies)

Booklet on Gender Mainstreaming in the Internal Market Acquis Chapters                         

On Monday, 21st February 2022, the GIZ run project “Support to accession negotiations in the economic chapters of the acquis” (SANECA) organized a Presentation of the Gender Mainstreaming Booklet in the Internal Market Chapters of the Acquis, prepared for supporting Albanian negotiating structures in mainstreaming gender in policy areas concerning free movement of goods, services, enterprise and industrial policies, as well as consumer and health protection.

The presentation aimed at informing GIZ Albania project managers, policy advisers and gender focal persons on methods and tools to integrate gender in their respective areas of intervention and to promote gender equality to GIZ partners across all GIZ country portfolio.

The Gender Booklet is viewed as a means to inform better, a more inclusive and gender-sensitive policy/regulatory making, whilst paving the way for shaping current and future GIZ intervention potentials in the partner country, and beyond.
