To promote our PMD offers and to specifically address SDG 5 – gender equality in development cooperation – we are planning an event for the beginning of March. In a four-hour workshop we want to inform and discuss with female diaspora in Germany working or studying in STEM fields about their (possible) contribution to development cooperation with a focus on RE missions and DE assignments.
In our offers so far, STEM fields in general and women in these fields in particular have been underrepresented. Thus, this event aims at sensitising female diaspora from PMD partner countries on development cooperation as well as involving them through commitments, so they can share their expertise and knowledge.
