Reinforcing Gender Diversity in the Tunisian Private Sector

It is with great pride that we announce the end of this edition of our “Gender Diversity Management” process, which brought together 10 companies committed to promoting gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
For several months, we worked together to implement concrete initiatives aimed at :

  • Promoting equal opportunities ;
  • Breaking gender stereotypes ;
  • Creating an inclusive and respectful working environment for all.

Our private sector partners have been very committed throughout the process with a desire to transform mentalities and to make their contribution to a more equitable future.

Over the course of the last months, the participating companies have developed company specific “Gender Diversity Action Plans”. The implementation of these plans will be ongoing even after the end of the process – creating sustainable change within the companies.
This project has not only strengthened gender diversity management skills within organizations, but also created concrete opportunities for women and people of all gender identities in the world of work.

We look forward to seeing the long-term impact of these initiatives and continuing to move forward together towards a more inclusive world of work.

This activity has been implemented in the frame of the WoMENA regional project. WoMENA is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
