What: WenDo self-defence workshop
An additional workshop targeting female volunteers and team members from the New Imprint Foundation, a Cairo based NGO is organized. New Imprint Foundation is a key player on the topic of sexual harassment in Egypt. Through its awareness raising activities and on-the-ground interventions to stand against sexual harassment in universities, sport clubs and public spaces, many volunteers are exposed through direct interaction in the field to unwanted physical and verbal encounters and many forms of sexual harassment. In order to strengthen their standing and confidence, WenDo will supply them with techniques and skills to protect themselves in public spaces and boost their self-confidence.
