GIZ Gender Award Ceremony 2024

We are honored to count on the participation of Dr. Bärbel Kofler (Parliamentary State Secretary from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) and Ingrid-Gabriela Hoven (Vice-Chair of the Management-Board of GIZ). Together with Martha Gutierrez (GIZ Gender Ambassador) and the Award-Winning Teams we will look forward to an inspiring, motivating and enriching event.
We received an overwhelming number of submissions to the GIZ Gender Competition 2024 from around the world. The 186 contributions truly reflect the extraordinary commitment to gender equality within the company and emphasize its importance – as a goal and a quality feature of GIZ and the work we do. It was not easy to select the top contributions, but with the help of our committed jury members, we were able to select 8 initiatives in 3 categories.
As usual, the Award-Winning Teams will present their approaches in a brief and creative manner before receiving the Gender Awards from Ingrid-Gabriela Hoven and Bärbel Kofler, our guest of honor.
The Award Ceremony on 8th March from 11:00 am CET will be livestreamed with translations into French and Spanish.
