Through the Lense of Intersectionality: Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities as an Integral Component of Feminist Policies If you leaf through our clients' most recent strategic documents, it becomes clear: whether Feminist Development Policy, the Human Rights Concept of German Development Cooperation, the Position Paper on Reducing Inequality: intersectionality should become common sense. But as it is often not yet the case, we would like to anchor and support it. Egypt will show us the path to an inclusive workplace and introduce its newly developed Code of Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities as a basis on how to lead by example! North Macedonia, who uses the method of Social Mapping in the Western Balkan countries, show us how well we can negotiate and support our partners when we use social data to initiate public services that facilitate equality for people with disabilities – so far 21 new services have been established. These two examples encourage us to collect and show the many others. We start this journey during the Gender Month 2024 and the first year of the inclusion marker. With that we have set sight firmly on the Global Disability Summit in Berlin in 2025 that Germany is hosting together with Jordan. We look forward to the event!
