Women Mobilize Women and Mobycon present the webinar series “Intersectionality of Gender & Mobility”. Delve into the world of mobility with us as we challenge assumptions and embrace inclusivity! 🚶‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚇

The dynamics of gender and mobility are continuously evolving, influenced by a myriad of intersecting factors. Our webinar series aims to untangle the complexities surrounding this intersection, offering insights into the diverse perspectives that shape our understanding of mobility.

In Episode 2 “Gender, Mobility, and Disability: The Intersection of Varied Experiences,” host Melissa Bruntlett is joined by incredible voices, Anna Zivarts and Dr. Kay Inkle, to explore how mobility can become truly inclusive. 🤝

Dr. Kay Inkle, Campaigns & Policy Manager for Wheels for Wellbeing, advocates for cycling access through a mobility justice ethos. With a background in social science and a focus on intersectional aspects of mental health and disability, Dr. Inkle has published extensively, including research with disabled cyclists (Inkle 2020; 2019).

Anna Zivarts, a passionate advocate for disability rights, is a low-vision mom and non-driver. Leading the Disability Mobility Initiative at Disability Rights Washington, Anna launched the impactful #WeekWithoutDriving in 2021 and is the author of the forthcoming book “When Driving Is Not an Option: Steering Away from Car-Dependency,” releasing in May 2024.

🌈 Join us on March 7th, 2024, at 4:30 PM CET, to uncover personal and professional experiences, shedding light on individual barriers and ways to address them.
