What are the challenges for women in cross-border trade – and how can we adress them?
We cordially invite you to a roundtable to discuss challenges of women and small-scale traders.
We are eager to hear from our guest speaker Mrs. Naa Densua Aryeetey, Chair of the Trade & Gender Subcommittee of the National Trade Facilitation Committee of Ghana about how trade agreements, such as the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) tackle gender issues – and how the Committee is adressing the topic.
Furthermore, we will hear presentations on two concrete project acitivities in Ghana and Central Asia focusing on women in trade.
There will be room to ask questions and share ideas.
