The event – taking place as a physical meeting in Lusaka – aims at creating a platform for exchange on equal access for women to insurance and the development of ideas on gender-sensitive awareness creation for climate risk insurance (CRI). Moreover, the event will also be an opportunity to share joint efforts and strengthen synergies between relevant stakeholders.
The workshop will also provide the opportunity to provide feedback on the content of a phone-based educative game being developed by Viamo Inc. on behalf of the CRIIZ Project. The game will specifically target female farmers and empower them to make more informed decisions about the uptake of climate risk insurance.
