The training focuses on sharpening people’s awareness of gender and diversity-related discrimination including sexual harassment. It creates a safe space where the participants can openly share their experiences and work on it with a theatrical and participatory psycho-social approach.
The training will be provided to the students of acting classes of Mandala Theatre Nepal, a partner organization of GIZ/ Ziviler Friedensdienst (ZFD) at Kathmandu. The facilitators are the members of the “Gender and Diversity Focal Committee”- two psychologists and therapist, and an International Peace Advisor with a theatrical and psycho-social background.
The participants will also get information about the legal situation of Nepal and Mandala Theatre’s “Gender and Diversity Sensitive Work Policy”. They are invited to reflect and give their feedback on the policy.
