GIZ Madagascar is taking part in the gender week celebrations led by the Ministry promoting gender equity. Numerous women’s associations that we support from our intervention regions – eco-tourism, protected area management, jewelry linked to artisanal mining, women’s mayors association or women’s entrepreneurship association – will be able to expose their products and services, share their experiences and connect with other associations and companies in a B2B spirit in the feminine talent exhibition village.
Talk shows on topics such as access to health and family planning as well as two conferences on women’s right and activism will take place throughout the week. A GIZ panelist will discuss a case study from natural resources management and women’s economic autonomy, among others.
Celebrations will end by a carnival on the 8th of March.
