GIZ India Gender Focus March 2025 : Understanding and De-coding the NEW GIZ GENDER STRATEGY 2025 – 2029 Considering GIZ’s commitment towards ensuring Gender Equality as a quality aspect of our work, a new GIZ Gender Strategy has been launched on 10th February 2025. Now more than ever, if we are to achieve inclusive and equitable societies, ensuring gender justice, gender responsive and gender transformative approaches is the key to unlocking SDG5. Armed with the new GIZ Gender Strategy 2024 – 2029, GIZ aims to do just that. The new Gender Strategy aims to pull our knowledge, experience, and partnerships together to increase our impact in promoting gender equality and equal opportunity. The GIZ Gender Strategy provides strategic direction and key interventions to lead the way in the coming years.
We at GIZ India aim to discuss and de-code the new GIZ Gender Strategy and what it means for us at country level. Although this is an internal event, we would like to highlight the importance of internal dialogues taking place to shape our future. We will be happy to share the outcomes of these dialogues with all concerned post our discussions.
