The project ResPEct in cooperation with Nonviolent Peaceforce and Men for Women is organising a radio show on the topic “Access to Resources for Women and Girls”. A South Sudanese gender equality activist and two Gender Champions will discuss questions around challenges that women and girls face when it comes to accessing resources in South Sudan as well as what role men can play in supporting women to overcome these barriers and promoting gender equality.
The radio show will be aired on Eye Radio at 8.00 am on the 8th of March. Listeners will get the opportunity to call in and ask questions. A replay of the show will be aired on 9th of March at 6 pm.
The project ResPEct is comissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and co-funded by the European Union. It is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Juba and Yei.
