The second round of ANA HUNNA female mentoring will be officially launched on Thursday, 9 March 2017 at the University of Jordan. Young female students (mentees) are paired up with experienced female professionals (mentors) to jointly work on their transition from university into the labour market. The economic integration of women is one challenge to be addressed on the way to achieving Gender Equality.
For the second time the Center for Women’s Studies (CWS) which is a main unit of the University of Jordan in cooperation with GIZ/ Economic Integration of Women in the MENA Region – EconoWin will facilitate the AH female mentoring project during the course of the upcoming academic year.
The event will be attended by officials from the university, representatives of civil society organizations and academia, in addition to participating mentors and student mentees.
